How China Convinced The World to Lock Down Part II

It is well-known that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) pays hundreds of thousands of individuals to post hundreds of millions of posts that promote the agenda of the CCP,[1] and this activity includes the spread of misinformation about COVD-19. The misinformation campaign started as soon as the first cases of COVID-19 were reported in Wuhan. For example, a picture was distributed which was said to be a hospital wing built in one day in anticipation of the huge demand for beds due to COVID. It was later determined that the picture was actually an apartment building 600 miles from Wuhan.[2] Several videos showed residents collapsing in the streets which later turned out to be staged events.
In part one of this series, I discussed how China decided to lock down Hubei Province when only a few cases had been diagnosed and how within a few days the WHO was praising China for its decisive action and encouraging other countries to do the same thing. It is important to remember that at this time there was no evidence that this strategy worked since it had only been implemented for a few days.
Nonetheless, on March 9, Italy became the first country (other than China) to lock down its 60 million citizens.[3] Experts from China arrived a few days later and immediately announced that the lockdowns were not strict enough, and encouraged more severe restrictions.[4] The Italians complied. This was followed by a massive Chinese disinformation campaign praising lockdowns and the benefits of Italy’s partnership with China, using social media, particularly Twitter.[5]
On the other hand, Sweden chose not to lock down. An article in one of the CCP’s publications, Global Times, reported “So-called human rights, democracy, freedom are heading in the wrong direction in Sweden, and countries that are extremely irresponsible do not deserve to be China’s friend.” The article went on to say that “The number of deaths and cases will continue to rise in Sweden if the country sticks to a herd immunity strategy, which will overwhelm Sweden’s medical system and cause greater economic loss than countries adopting strict management.”[6] The CCP also described allowing the development of herd immunity as a violation of human rights.[7]
While many European governments closed down their entire countries, response in the U.S. varied by state. Kristi Noem, governor of South Dakota, refused to lock down her state, and shortly after announcing this decision her Twitter feed was swamped with negative information. The same thing happened to Brian Kemp, governor of Georgia, when he became the first in the country to end his state’s lockdown.
Throughout the last several months, President Xi, the CCP, and the WHO have continued to praise China’s policies and misrepresent its data, using state reporters and social media to report lies. Hundreds of state-controlled reporters were instructed to promote good news about the lockdowns in Wuhan, while negative information about the CCP and its response was heavily censored.[8] U.S. intelligence agencies have determined that China has deliberately misrepresented data concerning COVID-19.[9]
The U.S. State Department notified Twitter in May, 2020 that 250,000 Twitter accounts had been identified that were linked to networks aligned with the CCP and that these accounts were being used to spread false statements about the COVID-19 debacle.[10] Twitter refused to do anything about it. The problem is that many people continue to believe the false narratives.
Nonetheless, encouraged by fake news about lockdown success, government officials in other countries, including the U.S., have been acting more like Communists than elected officials. Citizens have been encouraged to snitch on fellow citizens who violated policies.[11] The CCP donated police drones to 22 states to help enforce social distancing rules.[12]
The erosion of rights continues, but the rationale has shifted. With few exceptions, the hospitals have not been overwhelmed and the temporary hospitals, which cost almost one billion dollars to construct, were torn down months ago. Scaring people about hospital capacity no longer works.
So now, in order to justify lockdowns, restrictions on gatherings, school closures, and other violations of our constitutional rights, we are being told that “cases” are rising. What is a case? Anyone who tests “positive” using questionable tests administered to mostly asymptomatic people. The most commonly used test, PCR, is not a diagnostic test and has been shown to have an inaccuracy rate of up to 100%.[13] Apparently the new benchmark for “earning back our freedom” is that there can be no positive tests for flu using a fake test. Obviously this will never happen. So what is really going on?
It seems that a significant percentage of U.S. government officials have decided to convert their jurisdictions to Communist states. Citizens no longer have rights. We are given instructions regularly concerning what we are allowed and not allowed to do. In many states, like Ohio, isolation camps are built and waiting for residents. We must wear masks in order to leave our homes.
History tells us that once an area has been taken over by a Communist regime, citizens have few choices. I’m not aware of any instance in which Communist rulers freed the people voluntarily. They have all had to be forced out.
We still have a functioning court system, and as long as we do, the best option is to file lawsuits challenging the emergency. If there is no emergency, there is no justification for current policies, and it may even mean that some of the Communists are guilty of fraud.
This is the action taken in Ohio on August 31. A similar action is being filed in another state soon, and the goal is to file in every affected state. If we cannot make this strategy work the only one remaining, if we want to live our lives as free people, is civil war.
